Wexstrasse is a street in Wilmersdorf, a district on the boundary to Schöneberg district and Friedenau sub-district but closer to downtown West Berlin, and known for its pretty late-nineteenth-century buildings. Wilmersdorf is highly popular because of its rich cultural amenities. You will find any number of restaurants, cafés, bars, cinemas and shopping venues within walking distance. Naturally, the vicinity is also dotted with doctors' offices, pharmacies, preschools, supermarkets, and other day-to-day
amenities. Several underground and rapid transit stations and many bus stops provide easy access to the public transportation network, while the nearest expressway junction is practically down the street. Wexstrasse offers its residents a high degree of livability, not least because of its proximity to the parklands of Volkspark Wilmersdorf with its scenic running and cycling trails, and green areas for picnics and barbecues.
